Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for sports early, and discovered her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first trial she took, she was ranked second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and subsequently signed an official contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. She set a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. In 2007, she won the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently in the top 3 across her diverse races at the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
