Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was the winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went to host the dating show syndicated to TBS Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.





 In 2017, Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. She has six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix began her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family from New York City. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated when she was still a baby. She attended Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. In the school she was studying Spanish and was a member of the school’s improvisation team.





 Shlesinger was a performer at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She was a participant in Semester at Sea. Then she went on to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. She majored in film. In her time at Emerson she honed editing and writing abilities as well as was a part of Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy group on campus.

 Shlesinger completed her college degree and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most well-known performers in the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her on stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
