Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 was an American actress. She is well-known for her role in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst the county of DuPage, Illinois Chicago and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the child of teachers parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish origin with roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College and early careers
Her first appearance was in Hollywood as a background actor in the film Lucas with Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She later followed her older sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
